This is your public server announcement, brought to you by MagixLicious2K. It's time for Uncle Magix to announce a guide on how to download stuff from mIRC.


Please note : I am not going to explain how to configure your fserve to "auto-get/get-all-known-filetypes" or problems with routerports. Therefore I am going to refer you guys to my best right-hand friend : Google.com.


Download mIRC
Get mIRC or any other mIRC client.

Register your nick
/ns register
This registers the nick you are on for you. One of the big reasons why I let you guys do this, is because there are lots of people who have nicks. You do want your nick to be original do ye?

Identify your nick before you log on
/ns IDENTIFY
This command lets you use the nick you are on. For example, if the last time you were on irc, you registered a nick, and then, you disconnect and the day after you get back on irc, nickserv will require you to enter your nick password or you will be kicked off of your nick (your nick will be changed to "Guest". This is so noone gets on your nick or steals it. Sounds crystal clear huh?

mIRC Rules
*Once you entered the channel. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT piss me off by saying "Can someone send me the file?" or "Where can I get the file?". Seriously, any acts like these will get you kicked of even banned when I am in a bad mood
*Do NOT spam or piss people off (refer top)
*If sharing, put your /ctcp /tdcc Adds on 15min. It's annoying to see your fserve every 2 mins
*Just behave and talk like you normally do. Animes, Daily Life, RBO stuff, etc etc are all welcome

mIRC Commands
To check out what ftpservers are running, do the command !list. This will show you all the fservs currently available to you. Be sure to READ the triggers and Message comments. For ex. Triggers:[/ctcp MagixMan is... . You need to copy the /ctcp trigger, in order to acces the fileserver. Ex. /ctcp MagixMan is...

Before even attempting to acces mIRC. I want you to enter some commands :
/msg hostserv off
/dccserver +sc on 59

Now these are the commands that you will need to use in order to access, browse and download files :
- /ctcp : the trigger to open up ftp servers, also known as fservs
- cd : stands for change directory. If an fserve has lots of directorys/maps, you need to browse through them. With the cd command, you can easily browse through files. Ex. you want to enter the directory/map called MagixLove, you should type : cd MagixLove
- dir : important command. If you type this in, whilst in a directory. You can see all the files available in that folder
- cd.. : not the same commands, but the dots tells you to go one directory/map back. Ex. you are in the MagixLove folder but you want to go back to the main folder. You should type : cd..
- get : yes, the command who lets you get the file. Important essence of all humanity. To get a file, lets say :
[21:53] ..
[21:53] [a-s]_getbackers_-_01_-_the_initials_are_g_and_b__[ma]debito_dvd-rip__[09288528].ogm 231 mb]

You should type in : get [a-s]_getbackers_-_01_-_the_initials_are_g_and_b__[ma]debito_dvd-rip__[09288528].ogm

- After you are done with the fserve, be sure to type in : exit. So you won't idle or crash peoples fserve.

/ns is better than /msg nickserv because you can't accidentally send your password to "nuckserb". Though, I don't know if it's on this server.

the Reg command is

the /ns command wont work for me

I don't seem to be able to connect to rizon.net is there a problem with the server? Or am I doing something wrong? Wich I highly doubt though.

yeah its been acting up lately try checking if u have any un-needed spaces in the server setting

Try connecting to an actual server, instead of irc.rizon.net.

One such server is irc.riz0n.net, but you should search www.rizon.net for a compatible server.

It's supposed to be /ns register, not /ns Nickserv register. This is fixed.

I forgot how to use MIRC LOL! I am working on getting my new PC up and running.

Ish it just me, or can some peoples not connect to any channel? I tried and tried, and it just said "you are not connected to any channel". I SWEAR I did everything right!!!

I can?t even log in the server. When i put @Rizon.net i always says unable to connect or that.

Use irc.rizon.net as the server. No one really here atm, either because no one uses it or no one knows how to connect correctly x.o

I've tried and it says me banned temporary and connected for 45 seconds

It seems that the rizon channel is dead...at least, it's dead as of now.

I'm still maintaining the #ragnarokbattle channel on irc.xelium.net. Raijinili still comes, and it would be great for people to join us...

Yea, most people do not use the mIRC channel. Its pretty sad. Like when I have the Flash Chat deal up, no one used it.
