Yeah, it's been a while, I stopped coming here when they had to move the forums through 2 or 3 servers, and after it came back up, I just didn't have the time.

I'm actually quite an experienced player now; prior to my first visit a year ago. Problem is, I've only played the first scenario; the original game. Why haven't I gotten any farther? Because I'm on a limited account, running Windows XP, and I can't install anything, including the next scenarios.

So what have I been doing the past year? Looking for MMORPGs to play. But because of my limited account, I was unable to find one that would work properly. Pangya required Admin Registry Key. Yogurting required an admin account to detect another 4000+ patches for dl. So I finally went back to Ragnarok Online, getting it now, hoping it'll work. If it does, I just went in a biiiiig circle. If not....well, the journey continues.

So, I need a heads up. What's been going on? I know about the second and third scenario, but that's about it. Also, can someone help me with..uh...well, sending me an already installed version of scenario 1, 2, and 3? It's how I'm getting around installing Ragnarok Online without admin, and I'm hoping someone can help me out here. Thanks, and hi.

sending you an installed RBO EX?that would be very huge uploads lad,exeeding 1 gigs if i'm not mistaken,sorry cant help you there,maybe you can ask sara chan or the mods to help you?

Uhm... a file already installed with 1 2 & 3... That'll exceed @ least 1 gb... im kinda confused of you having a limited account.. im not sure what it means...

How about downloading the game first normally, install it at another PC, and copy it back to the PC where U download it ???

that means he's sharing a PC with somebody else which owns the PC,he doesnt have rights to install things if the admin doesnt give permit,i hope that answers you curiosity

I believe you can upload such files on FileFront, a friend did it for me, the file itself is 947 megs. And if it's not possible, it could be broken into 2 or 3 smaller parts or something. And after that just say what goes where.



Sadly, if I had another PC with admin priviledges I wouldn't be having this problem



Basically, all I have is RBO, with Stages 1-8 and the small patch that goes with it. It's 1.01 I believe, for some reason it stopped working so I can't open it anymore, even after fiddling with the settings. I remember screwing with the files when I was trying to install the first scenario pack but it didn't work, so I just left it alone.

I sorta need help here. Since I can't install (first time I did so was on the safe mode admin account, and my bro found out and put a password on it), I need someone to break up RBO, fully patched and with all the current scenarios, into a couple of RARs, and uploaded on FileFront, and tell me how to put everything together. Maybe RAR a couple folders at a time to make life easier. I know it's like a gigantic thing to ask of, but I can't install, and my brother really doesn't like to have to go on the admin account and do it himself (laziness, to the extreme). So can anyone help me? I also want to keep my characters and my saved files and whatnot, so tell me how I should back these up before I unRAR everything.

umm....it is gigantic and not every people can go and upload 1gigs of RAR files to the internet,since the admin is your brother why dont you ask him nicely to just let you install the RBO EX?that way its easier for you and all of us,downloading a 300 meg files is always better than a 1GB file dont you think?and if you still insist why dont you open a topic in the members area or torrent download,maybe someone there can help you

About the original RBO won't run, have U tried changing compatibility ???

IIRC, the original RBO is an installer...
But the Ex1, 2 and 3 are not...
They are only an extractor, not installer...

If U have 'infinite' bandwidth, maybe U can try to download Ex1 first for test...

BTW, if U have more question, please ask at the game support section...
