Well, today we did it. We have purchased the newest version of IP.Board 2.2.2 (Invision Power Board). This is the amazing forum software we use to run the site. Along with that purchase, we have bought a account with DreamHost, and in hopes are going to be migrating all the stuff on our GoDaddy account to our DreamHost account. This might create some downtime, but we have not set a date to do this yet.

This is a step forward in securing our fan boards. Our hosting account with GoDaddy will stay up for a month or two as a fall back on the DreamHost hosting account. I have talked to multiple representatives at DreamHost, and they have placed us on a high web traffic server that is designed for sites like ours. That is our report so far, we will post when all of our server moves and forum upgrades will be happening.
