does anyone know where i can download the philipines version of the game?
that version is in english (with bits of tagalog) which means i might be able to know what i'm doing when playing....tho if i get that...will there also be the 3 expansions that matches that version...?

i don't think the japanese version matches that of the philipine version....

if someone has that version of the game. will you make available for download for others in this site?

my char is 10 now and i have idea if my skills are right....there r features i dun understand and all other manner of annoying things

There IS an English patch for the Japanese version. There's a link in the sticky thread entitled "Translation Patch".

Sorry, not sure where to get the Philippine version...
And IIRC, when I tried with Indonesian version it's not compatible with the Japanese version...

i've been reading and the translation patch only changes the configs to english...not the actual game where i need it the most....i have a build all set up but i can't apply it if i can't read wat is wat...

ok...if you have the indo version...surely theres an indo version of the expansions too...

Make sure U are playing Ex3 if U want to install Sara-chan's patch...

No, it doesn't has any expansion, only up to v1.100 [original RBO]...
Which is why I always play the Japanese version...

wen i download all 3 expansions... will they all be in one programme?
e.g. i click the rbo icon...will all three added features be added?
or r they 3 individually new programmes WITH the stuff on previous expansions?
or be more specific... if i download ex3 will i only be able to access the extra stage only? or will the 8 original ones be counted also? maybe even the other extras that r in other expansions?

in anycase...i'm gonna need help reading the kanji
even the mundane stuff like wat ppl say during the stages and the text that appears wen u enter the adventurers inn...translatons on everything really...but if we have to prioritize
it'll definitely want the ones that are highlightable (the stuff u select)...don't want to delete my chars by accident you know...

how hard is it to change text in a game?
i can imagine the annoyingness with sound but text seems easy (seems easy coz i can change the text i'm typing right now just like that)
i imagine it as like getting into the code and simply find the part which has th text in and change it...m i being naive or is this correct?

No, each will have it's own files...
However, when U play Ex1 [rbo_ex1.exe], it will ask for your original RBO folder [and using those files]...
So when U play Ex1, U can still access the stage on the original, plus the new stages from Ex1 itself...
Similar things with Ex2, which use original RBO and Ex1 files to run, and Ex3 which use all the previous version...

thse were very helpful...well except the merchant class skill tree...wtf is up with that jibberish....my thief and swordsman rule, trying archer (vere strange strange class)...

changing rbo's code doesn't seem to be that hard (once u get the code)...just tedious and long winded

Well I would use the powers of Google to find a torrent possibly, as for now. No one here knows where to get one (and by no one, I mean people who read this thread). My Guess would be that there is a site, some where in the world that has a download for it. The hard part is finding it.

well i suggest u just donwload the orginal version the download the 3 expansions

then install sarachans english config..it works fine w/ me atleast now i can understand what skill points im putting rather alt+tab go to site..look for the similiar japanese chars of the skill

I have a phillipine RBO.. a friend gave it to me.. I didn't install it because I already have RBO installed.. I think it doesn't have any expansion..

currently having trouble doin the ex...so...bleh.....i pretty much memorised the skills (from hours upon hours of playing) but i still wanna know wat the stuff i can't read say....

RBO PH is in english.. Some say it has a little bit of Filipino but I haven't tried to install it.. Maybe when I'm not feeling lazy I'll install it..

I'm filipino... phil rbo is in english and the philippine version still does'nt have expansions.

bits of the game are in filipino and that it can only be installed currently by using the cd... which costs 100 pesos (2 dollars...) yes I know... it's really cheap aiyt?

if you have phil rbo and you try to install expansions, it will end up making everything in japanese again...

Hmm.. I have a high school friend working at level up (distributor of RO in the Phillipines). Maybe they have the code for RBO since they translated some of it in Filipino. I'll try contacting him.

I'm from Philippines too. Is the RBO installer cd really available here in Manila? Well if its not, who can lend his/her cd to me? Hehe I'm so desperate 'cause I couldn't wait to download the whole program for more than 5 days since I'm just using a dial up modem. T_T
