Well people. Im surprised. No GFX section on this forum. Lol Guys ;D.For those of you who posses talent in the world that is gfx, or who will posses talent. Please feel my pain ;[. I will be proud to introduce what this whole thing is all about. Basicly, gfx is an art that includes the processes used to make signatures and avitars and anything that fills the idea behind a generated image. This image can be made in paint, or photoshop. If you didnt get that part, heres more simpler explanation towards gfx: U make a pic on photoshop with da skillz D;. Alright. Now that i have covered what Gfx is, i would like to tell you how the whole idea will come together. My main need is a "GFX" section in the media and arts corner. Simple as that.

Now. The Rules of the whole thing. Well. Simple; topics are made to correspond the gfx choices:

[Rate] - [Request] - [Hints]

[Rate] : Basicly the artist will put up this kind of topic for people to judge their creation from a scale of 1 to 10.
[Request] : An artist or a user will request (ask for) a gfx to be made for him/her. Requests can include; Avi (avatar) and / or a Signature.
[Hints] : An artist who has created a creation may ask for advice from nearby brother artist.

It is posible to mix the [Rate] and [Hints] choices for a [Rate/Hints]

How to create a gfx: Make a creation on photoshop, save it as a psd, just for urself just incase u wana edit it. And also save it as a jpeg so u can put it on the internet. Then, go to www.photobucket.com and register an account. After you have done that, upload your picture and you should get it down on ur list. Below that picture lies a text that looks like this: (replace - - with [ ]) -img- <ur pics directory here> -/img- . That my friend is the magic link. Click on that and it should say that it is copied with a little yellow pop up. Just to be on the safe side, copy it for yourself too. And paste that to where you want that picture to be. Now to put that on your signature, go to your user control panel and find "Edit Your Signature" on the left side list. Insert your magic link (-img--/img-) over there, and click apply or whatever it sais, im doing this from memmory. Alright, you got your GFX!

That was my introuduction and suggestion to GFX. Hope this thing will actually happen. Cause if it dont....You will make a kitty cry ;[, and you dont want that. Oh and also, you can make seperate section named GFX, and have it devided into [Rate/Hints], and [Request]. Im sure that will make it more organized. Thanks.

U know, u urself could just create 2 seperate topics, 1 for artists to post up some siggys/avatars/related such to be rated, and 1 for members to request siggys and avatars, both could definetly be in the "Arts & Media" section.

The hints thing could just be combined into both of them. Like if somebody needs advice they could just ask for it in one of the topics. PM could be used to ask for hints also...crap...its still dead...

Its up to u. If u feel like making topics basically used as a little hideout area for artists on the forums, then go ahead. Maybe, if givin permission, those topics could be pinned so it doesnt get lost.

I myself would proly enjoy them a bit, since both my avatar and siggy r always self-created, and i get bored a lot after im done with them.

This could proly bring out some more posters in the forums too!

My apologise, but since there isn't much request about it, we put it at the Fan Art or Media section for now. If there are many similar topic later, we will consider making a separate section for it.

Alright .....I think xD The only reason i didnt want to create the topics myself. because it wouldnt catch posters eyes. A section just probably seemed more eye catching. It WILL increase the post count by at least half if the gfx section is strong enough.

I think this site is quite ok w/o the gfx etc. i dont get it. lol
