can we increase our avatars limit to 150x150 and 150KB?

well its just most GFX sites use bigger avatars now and can use images editing software to enjoy creating avatar images and design/stylize them.

i think its one of the good factors on making the forum site much enjoyable to stay.
some people design too much on their sigs but i think nowadays they also design their avatars to express themselves.

Meh. I wouldnt really care if it changed. I usually always use 100x100 being around 50k all the time...sometimes just a tiny bit over.
All i know is its not really something much to consider atm.

IIRC, the earlier dimension limit was 150x150, but maybe it was changed back to default during forum upgrade. I'll ask Garrett if it's ok to change it to 150x150. But about the file size itself, I believe we should leave it at 50KB. 10,000 member having 50KB each = 500MB.

A bit off topic since Minegishi's avatar seems to already use this, but it might be useful for other member. Try searching for "merge background" if you like animated GIF with only small moving part. Eventhough we can't use a transparent background, the filesize will be very small as only the 1st frame having the full background, while the 2nd frame till the end only display the changed part per frame. I use Animagic GIF for mine, 14 frames, 10KB.

I went ahead and bumped it back up to what it had been set to previously. We have FAR ENOUGH disk space and bandwidth do to a recent upgrade to host them.

well f3rd1 i dont think all users would actually make full use of the avatars limit potential.
i think maybe the veteran members would do.
and that is from my past experience with my own gfx board which i shutted after the time i got busy in the realworld~
