If you notice at the left side of each post, below every member's avatar and above the user group icon, there is a user rank.
User ranks changes depend on how many total post a member has.

Currently, we still use the default settings:

Rank name - minimum post
Newbie - 0
Member - 10
Advanced Member - 30

We plan to change and add some user ranks.
Maybe the range is around 0, 10, 30, 60, 100, 150, 210, 280, 360, 450, 600 minimum post.
But we have some difficulties deciding the ranks name.
If you have any idea for the rank name and the minimum post, please share it with us.

Hm... while adding more ranks i believe would encourage some possible unnecessary spam to add for post count i do have some recommendation as to name to be assign for post amounts if the numbers were as the numbers stated (0, 10, 30, 60, 100, 150, 210, 280, 360, 450, 600).

0 - Nooblet (simply because i like the name)
10 - Poring
30 - Rocker
60 - Maya
100 - Moonlight
150 - Orc Hero
210 - DopplerGanger
280 - Bapho Jr.
360 - Baphomet
450 - Kafra
600 - Mancrewpo (the lvl: 99 Malaysia bot)

I personally don't like this name choice though something with novice, 1st job,2nd job, reborn, i think would prove to be more interesting. Then again it's 2 in the morning here when i'm typing this so not expecting my wheels to be turning lol.

I was thinking of a "Poring Family" ranks. Here:

10 - Poring
30 - Santa Poring
60 - Drops
100 - Poporing
150 - Marin
210 - Ghostring
280 - Angeling
360 - Deviling
450 - Archangeling
600 - Pori pori (an MVP boss that looks like an innocent poring but takes a lot more firepower to kill than Baphomet!)

No, that takes way to much time. It is easier to just do it by post count.

Maybe don't have the ranks go too high? I was once at a board which only had level changes for 25, 50, and 100 posts, then you had to be promoted by the admin for the next level.

How about after 100 posts you can put whatever thing you like? A custom one =]

It can be allowed, but not at 100, roughly at 200? That'll be acceptable after your posts has been reviewed to have almost no spam or abusive material inside o.0

The Poring family is getting quite boring, but there's no other choice of monster family that has a very big strand of monsters...

I would also suggest that instead of the word "rank" it could be replaced with the phrase "Leveling up in...". Just a suggestion though.

Just to correct you over there, the BioLab doesn't have ghosts of Transcendent classes, only ghosts of normal jobs, like Swordsman or Magician. However, you might spot the Transcendents as Boss monsters, with a ****ing group of 10+ other ghosts following it... Damn painful. Oh yeah, they have a new area as well... Thanatos Tower.

Thanks for correcting me. I played a private server once and went inside the Bio Lab. The enemies are doppelganger-ish classes. The last level is where the transcendent classes roam. I heard that every other jobs there have been defeated except for Seyren the Lord Knight and Eremes the Assasin Cross.

at any rate, having a ranking system requires that each subsequent rank is easily distinguishable from the previous rank.

I also like the possibility of having custom names after reaching a certain number of posts.

I like the poring naming system, it's easy to understand, and if you've played RO, you know the ranks.

suggestion: have a member with <3 posts have the tag: "I didn't need to register to download RBO".

I hope everyone read that as "less than 3" instead of a heart...>_>;;

Err... Wrong agian... The Transcendent classes only appear as boss monsters, just like the Angeling does, but more rare... The ones that appear in Lighthalzen Dungeon Level 3 are just normal 2nd class monsters... Wizard, Knight, Priest, etc.

These are the bosses:

Lighthalzen Dungeon Level 1 & 2:
High Swordsman
High Mage
High Archer
High Priest
High Thief
High Merchant

Lighthalzen Dungeon Level 3:
Lord Knight (Seyren)
High Wizard (Katrinn)
Assassin (???)
Whitesmith (???)
Sniper (Shecil)
High Priest (???)

I prefer the old names, not the new names... I heard that Katrinn turned into something like Kathryne... But, I prefer the old names.

Errr... Okay Synchro anyways, these are the names of the Transcendent Class monsters:

Lord Knight: Seyren
Assasin Cross: Eremes
High Wizard: Katrinn
High priest: Magaleta
Sniper: Shecil
Whitesmith: Harword

Hope I'm right 'bout this one =P

Edit: After a bit discussion, we are using Panda Medic's suggestion now.
It's because the ranks are known even when we don't play RO.
All the bosses list rank comes from RBO.
