I know , there are much topics with "rbo on psp"..."rbo on ps2" and so on...
I think you know there are much cards for the DS on wich you can play homebrew games ^^
So my question is, can you put RBO as an DS homebrew ?
The place it will use , doesn´t matter !
I´ve got a 4gb card
I really love this game ! It´s a really good job of yours ^^
But i want to play this game when i´m not near my Pc xD
So...Can you do this? (sorry for my bad english ^^)
You would make a wish come true

No- we can't convert the game either. We have nothing to do with creating the game, so we can't change it either.

I Have a DS and i also

this game so is it possible to contact the creators to ask for them to either make a homebrew version or to commercially sell it as a proper DS game coz i'd pay for it

I don't think that frenchbread will continue to make this game or even port it to other systems..

I don't think so but this game rocks and shouldn't be converted to DS it will suck on that.

well i agree, ds would be a horrible conversion choice
psp would be a much better option

PSP would be a better choice- and FB obviously thought about it too- but again, nobody is going to be converting it, so I really don't see the point in debating it at all.
And to answer your question: Nobody's contacted FB about it, but I seriously doubt it would go anywhere since AFAIK FB has completely given up on releasing anything more for RBO.

i didnt mean contacting FB for converting it to the psp/ds
i was more asking if it would be possible to contact french bread and ask them to... release
the program(or whatever) that they used to make rbo so that it could be edited easier...
hmm....
well i guess it would just be another version of mugen then...
also i think most hackers(or whatever you guys want to call yourselfs) mostly just do it to challenge themselves...

The topic of them releasing the source code has been long debated on the forums. What it boils down to, is IP rights, and last I understood it, gravity holds the IP rights for RBO, and good luck getting anything even remotely good out of them. Not that my intention is to be pessimistic (but I'm good at it!)... rather, judging based on how history has shown gravity treats these sorts of situations, I'd say that's a realistic assumption.
I can't speak for anybody else here (does anybody else here do what I do?) .. but I typically refer to it as "reverse engineering", and I do mostly do it just to challenge myself. But I fear the challenge is starting to run out. That, or my interest. *shrug* I -do- have my other projects that I should be devoting more time to anyways.

cant u guys just decode/chop-chop the game and arrange them into a psp game? it looks like a heavy coded flash game to me, but playing it with ad-hoc will probably make it impossible

This has been discussed already.. Please read the whole development section why this is not currently possible..

what about you guys just make this game to online
like getamped or audition ayo dance or grand chase
so if we want to play we just join room or make a room
that'll be easier to play with friends
and there's new job like first we came from novice after lvl 10 we chose ninja/gunslinger etc and if we already lvl 50 we can change to assassin and then lvl 99 we can rebirth just the same as Ragnarok online but more fun.
and we should call it ragnarok battle online.

well... might be some copyright issues with doing what you suggested,
so far we havent done anything besides "hacking" rbo, but when you start putting it online and implementing classes...
well phrases like "copyright infringement" might start getting thrown at nyx or who ever actually does somethign like that

Hmmm if RBO was online then this forum would start getting new members.
Making one for the PSP would be a good idea, but if Gravity found out then this forum would probably be the first to take the blame.
