When I download part 1 and part 2 they wont extract :/
When I open part one it says something about fail archive.

Are the two .rar suppose to merge or something? When I download them, I can't select a folder. They automatically download into my download folder.

Please download part 2 again..

Please refrain from using your computer while it is still downloading the file to prevent corruption..

I've downloaded this All in One RBO Installer, I extracted then I installed

I open the RBO Ex3 then the game's opened.
after making the character and so on, when I start to deploy, the game suddenly closed and this thing appears:


It's always be the same even I change the compatibility to win 2000/xp/etc
what's wrong with this?

You can run ConfigEx3 and change the setting there..

For updating your drivers you can check the internet on how to do that..

Well you can basically change the monsters to look like characters.. And you can change the characters to monsters.. You can look it up in the monsters section..

btw~~ when i click escape during game, why the game closes..
and.. when does the save option comes? after how many stages/levels.. or is it autosave on every map?

It autosaves after you complete a map.. Original has 8 stages.. Expansion 1 has 2 more stages plus arena mode.. Expansion 2 has 3 more stages and Expansion 3 has the final stage.. There is a bonus stage too..

Hmmm. I do think this is compatible with joy stick.. Why not try it on the original then EX1, EX2, and EX3.. See which expansion prevents the joy stick from working..

btw, do you think having 2 kind of RBOs(yes i have original one and ex3 which i downloaded from this thread) will affect joystick usage? like, i use it for original, so i cant use it for ex3.. >.<

Well you need original, EX1, and EX2 so you can play EX3..

I haven't tried this installer yet so I'm not familiar on what it installs.. Anyway you can check by looking inside your RBO folder.. You may find other exe files there like rbo_ex1.exe or rbo_ex2.exe

this installer only gave me RBO ex3, setup ex3, and data folder. i've never downloaded ex1, and ex2, and i can play this one very well
though i downloaded the original years ago, which is often hang.. (Q_Q)

or can you suggest me another installer that you know is compatible for joysticks? ^^

I have been using a xbox controller for this version without a problem. It sees that just fine. Did you download the drivers needed for the joystick to work? You might want to check and make sure that windows is seeing your joystick correctly then make sure the controls are mapped properly through the set up.

You can find them in the Data folder then SaveData..

Second part is OK.. You may now try to download it again..

If you happen to come across the "server not found" message again, try do download it some other time..

can i move my characters from the non-English version to the English patch if so how would i go about doing this?

English patch only works on EX3 so if you are playing EX3 then there would be no problem.. No neeed to transfer characters.. If you are using a lower expansion you need to do some things first to transfer them to EX3.. Please refer here..

Well you can try updating your drivers or codecs.. And also try to set the settings to NORMAL.. Don't set it too high or too low..

EDIT: Can anyone suggest a good FileFront alternative? I want something to have unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage time (files won't get deleted after a certain time), and can upload 1024MB at a time. So no rapidshare, no megaupload, etc. I'll put up a mirror if someone can find me an alternative to FileFront.

Hmmm, I'm having one trouble with this game. Right after the "thanks to gravity" screen the game crashes with the following error message "RBO Ex3.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close", this is the same error of this SS:

You could try installing more video codecs..

Personally I use mega codec pack but you can use what ever you want..
